Reviewing your business plan to meet key targets

Jonathan L DaveyIn business you need to constantly review your business plan to ensure you are on track.  The size of the business will determine the frequency of review, when starting out, or starting again, this needs to be weekly…

My first target was to get 3 businesses paying a retainer for my services, target achieved.

My original plan was to visit different areas and knock the doors.  This was a natural reaction for someone who grew up knocking doors, as a good place to start again.  Reviewing the value of this, much of that energy needs to go into using alternative channels to find business opportunities.

Luckily enough I have came across the perfect sales & marketing solution to help me on my way.

Reid can work with any business in a 10 mile radius of Windsor.  Verbatim & BridgeBox meet a specific business need, so not relevant to all, unlikely to be found knocking doors but certainly plenty of opportunities within 10 miles of Windsor… and further a field via the web.

The new plan brings in:

So Monday I’ll be out and about, gathering business connections for Reid and sharing awareness of Verbatim, with BridgeBox up my sleeve.  Outside of existing commitments Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday I’ll be looking to talk to Sales Managers & Customer Service Managers about what I’ve got in my toolbox.  I’ll focus on Windsor + 10 to allow relevant mention of Reid and I’ll report back next week on the effectiveness of this strategy.

Please review the links above and if you know of anyone who you think could benefit from any of these services, point them in my direction.

Alternatively, if you have something that you’d like to sell more of, give me a call.

It would also be interesting to know, which of these you find most irritating.

Thank you.

Jon
